Breaking a Legend: Sarah Robinson

**ARC copy provided by author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

After all the hype this one got I just kinda felt

I don't know why, but this one just didn't do it for me. I love the premise, hot fighter guy falls in love with girl who has a shady past. Girl wants to learn to fight, guy eventually teaches her, and she helps heal him from old wounds. I usually love this type of story, but I found myself bored more often than not during this one.

I loved the dual point-of-view and each of the characters were pretty great, including the side characters. I loved that Clare developed such a good bond with Casey and even Rory's dad and brothers. This book was pretty family centered, which was nice.

In fact, some of the brothers sound like they might have more interesting stories coming up. I might try the next one, depending on who she writes about.

Although the relationship was nice, it did move pretty fast and I felt like the author could have slowed it down and had a better book. Overall it was decent, but just not for me. Other people seem to like it, so if you enjoy sports romance then go for it, it might be different for you.

Wrong Number, Right Guy: Elle Casey

**ARC copy provided by author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

Elle Casey is officially one of my favorite authors. I've read two other books of hers and this one was just as good. With a strong and fierce heroine, a badass hero, and plenty of witty comebacks, this one ranks five stars in my book.

May Wexler (our heroic female lead) is tiny, but takes no shit. She was a bucket of fun. I loved that even though she accidentally got into something way over her head, she faced it head-on. She retained her independence even though an over-protective guy basically put her on house arrest (in his house) and didn't let her do anything.

After she joins Ozzie's private security firm, it was nothing but laughs. Her job includes sneak attacks, tasering (yes you read that right)

and beating someone with a single stick. And these situations were all hilarious. I was almost crying from laughing so hard after the taser incident.

And then there is Ozzie (our dashing male lead) who was adorable. He was this giant guy who had incredible muscle definition, based on the descriptions, and who wasn't afraid to throw a few punches. Yet underneath he was a giant teddy bear.

Although there were some aspects about this book that were pretty unbelievable, it was just a fun read. And as long as you don't take it too seriously, I can almost guarantee you will enjoy it. It was a medium length read, so it might take you more than one sitting.

Binding Ecstasy: Setta Jay

**Copy provided by author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

At this point, I'm solidly entrenched in the story line. This book was good, but not as good as the previous ones.

The people are getting harder and harder to keep track of, and the author keeps introducing new ones. That being said, this book was pretty enjoyable, and I enjoyed the new twist with Apollo.

Plenty of hot sex, but with enough back plot and other story lines to keep me interested. In fact, I skipped some of the sex scenes in this one because I wanted more on the whole Apollo plot. However, there was mostly just sex.

The new twin sisters are awesome, and pretty badass. I loved their powers and how they used them. Bastian and Tasha were a great match and I loved their chemistry. I also loved how brave Natasha was. She was not afraid to fight or kill in battle, and she became stronger after a pretty crappy start in life.

Overall a great read, but I think I need a break before the next one...I'm starting to get bored with all the sex. (SHOCKING, I know)

Piercing Ecstasy: Setta Jay

**Copy provided by author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

YAASSS!

This one was just as good as the last. There is finally some action (the non-sexual kind) some action (the really sexual kind) and the plot is great.

Ileana was interesting, and it was something other than a girl who needed saving. She kicked ass and was not afraid to get down and dirty. She had no problems taking on Jax, and was definitely strong enough to be his mate. I mean, she was all around awesome.

Jax was a typical alpha-male guardian, but was a bit more dominant than some. I enjoyed how confused he was about having found a mate. It was adorable, and sexy. Their whole banter/foreplay had me laughing half the time. They were such a spirited couple that I couldn't help but like them.

This book had some sad emotions in it as well. Mia was still in love with Jax, and watching her try to get over him was hard, and then Ileana's nightmares. I felt so bad for the childhood she had, everything she went through was heartbreaking, yet she was so strong.

And...we finally have a resolution for Vane and Brianna! And it was a happy one!!

The couples are getting harder to keep track of, simply because there are so many people now. I keep getting the ones from the first few books confused, but it is still good. Although the sex was hot (as usual) the plot with Elizabeth was more interesting than constant orgasms. And a minor side note...while I enjoy abs on a cover of a book, I don't really care for asses. But I really like where this series is going!

Tempting Ecstasy: Setta Jay

**Copy provided by author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

Let me start off by saying. I'm pretty sure the author is just standing around somewhere snapping her fingers to make this happen.

This book did come with a warning that it is for adults only, and yes, you should listen. This series has tons of sex, this one is no exception. It starts off pretty much right from the start.

I really liked this one. Probably more than the others. Conn has always intrigued me, and I loved his story. Dacia was awesome. She was super protective of her sisters, and the rest of her family was intense. I loved her brothers, even though they were way over-protective. Conn took her sisters in and protected them as well, and with all the other alpha male stuff, it did get a bit annoying.

The "pack" thing that the wolves do is kinda cool. I thought it was hilarious to try and watch Conn manage what was basically his own pack.

The other stories going on in this one were just as good (including Jax and Mia). I was happy with the development of Vane and Brianna...even though there still wasn't a resolution. The whole thing going on with Elizabeth was a bit hard to keep track of, simply because this group has changed leaders so many times.

This was a great addition to the series, I hope the rest are this good!

Denying Ecstasy: Setta Jay

**Copy provided by author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

I wasn't sure it was possible for the author to make these books any hotter...but wow it totally did.

I loved Rain, she was strong and really stuck to her decision about not being used by Dorian. Well, at least for a little while. Dorian went through some tough shit early on in his life, but come on, he had centuries to get over it, there was no reason for him to be such an ass. Denying Ecstasy was a perfect title for this one because it kept happening over and over and over. One thing I didn't like was that I wish we could have been in Rain's mind while she was seeing Dorian's memories, but oh well.

I also really liked the new plot between Vane and Brianna. They would make such a cute couple! The ending for this book has to do with them, and I wanted their story to be finished so that I know how it turns out, but I'm sure there will be plenty of it in the next one.

The ending for this one was a little bit of a cliffhanger. Just enough to keep me interested, and the over-arcing plot has really kept me interested (except for in this one, it was slightly confusing, the characters keep changing too quickly to keep track of). Can't wait for the next one!
