The Billionaires: The Bosses: Calista Fox

Finally one that kept my attention outside of the ridiculous romance story. It was a bit longer, but worth the read. It seemed easier to enjoy the characters, and be interested in what they were doing, they had a story, some background, and worked well together. It wasn't just romance where they fell in love on the first day and live happily ever after. It was a fast romance, but didn't seem too ridiculous. Well done!

Addiction: Calista Fox

The sheer overuse of the word "sob" and its various forms ruined this book for me. Also, I have lost track of all the different love triangles in this series. There are entirely too many names to keep track of. These books started off really good and interesting, and just sex books, but it is getting more difficult to like them.

I Need You Tonight: Stina Lindenblatt

Finally! A romance book that I enjoyed. I really liked Mason as a character. I loved his development in this book, and the relationship with Nicole. It seemed so natural for them to start as friends and progress to love. They were great for each other, kinda. This book dealt with a lot of serious topics, and they were covered well. I love that Nicole was so strong when dealing with really shitty stuff in this book.

Mason was a good guy, even if it took him a bit longer than normal to truly get there. Which brings me to the end of the book. I felt a little disappointed, but not with the story itself, with the result of Mason's actions. I'm curious as to what's going to happen in the following books and I'm looking forward to finding out.

Wrong Turn, Right Direction: Elle Casey

I have been following Elle Casey for quite some time now. I love this author and she writes amazing books. This one seemed a bit different from her other books. I felt a bit more serious, and maybe a little more outlandish than the past ones. It still had the comedy, the sweet moments, and the serious moments. I liked it, but not as much as her other books.

Mika was difficult for me to like. I understand why she didn't trust anybody, but it was frustrating when things kept getting prolonged because she wouldn't tell anyone anything. Thibault was her perfect match because he was such the opposite. Although he hated it, he totally had a Superman complex, but it was a good thing. 

These two ended up making a great couple, but I wish the falling in love period would have been a bit longer. It was still a well-written and well thought out book. A quick read that was pleasant and still fairly enjoyable.

The Dangerous Billionaire: Jackie Ashenden

I feel like I need to take a break from romance books. I haven't really liked many of these typical run-of-the-mill books. This one wasn't much different. Honestly, quite a few parts of this one were a little creepy. I get that the two characters aren't related, but something about the relationship history just didn't sit right. This one was another flop for me.
