Piercing Ecstasy: Setta Jay

**Copy provided by author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

YAASSS!

This one was just as good as the last. There is finally some action (the non-sexual kind) some action (the really sexual kind) and the plot is great.

Ileana was interesting, and it was something other than a girl who needed saving. She kicked ass and was not afraid to get down and dirty. She had no problems taking on Jax, and was definitely strong enough to be his mate. I mean, she was all around awesome.

Jax was a typical alpha-male guardian, but was a bit more dominant than some. I enjoyed how confused he was about having found a mate. It was adorable, and sexy. Their whole banter/foreplay had me laughing half the time. They were such a spirited couple that I couldn't help but like them.

This book had some sad emotions in it as well. Mia was still in love with Jax, and watching her try to get over him was hard, and then Ileana's nightmares. I felt so bad for the childhood she had, everything she went through was heartbreaking, yet she was so strong.

And...we finally have a resolution for Vane and Brianna! And it was a happy one!!

The couples are getting harder to keep track of, simply because there are so many people now. I keep getting the ones from the first few books confused, but it is still good. Although the sex was hot (as usual) the plot with Elizabeth was more interesting than constant orgasms. And a minor side note...while I enjoy abs on a cover of a book, I don't really care for asses. But I really like where this series is going!

Tempting Ecstasy: Setta Jay

**Copy provided by author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

Let me start off by saying. I'm pretty sure the author is just standing around somewhere snapping her fingers to make this happen.

This book did come with a warning that it is for adults only, and yes, you should listen. This series has tons of sex, this one is no exception. It starts off pretty much right from the start.

I really liked this one. Probably more than the others. Conn has always intrigued me, and I loved his story. Dacia was awesome. She was super protective of her sisters, and the rest of her family was intense. I loved her brothers, even though they were way over-protective. Conn took her sisters in and protected them as well, and with all the other alpha male stuff, it did get a bit annoying.

The "pack" thing that the wolves do is kinda cool. I thought it was hilarious to try and watch Conn manage what was basically his own pack.

The other stories going on in this one were just as good (including Jax and Mia). I was happy with the development of Vane and Brianna...even though there still wasn't a resolution. The whole thing going on with Elizabeth was a bit hard to keep track of, simply because this group has changed leaders so many times.

This was a great addition to the series, I hope the rest are this good!

Denying Ecstasy: Setta Jay

**Copy provided by author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

I wasn't sure it was possible for the author to make these books any hotter...but wow it totally did.

I loved Rain, she was strong and really stuck to her decision about not being used by Dorian. Well, at least for a little while. Dorian went through some tough shit early on in his life, but come on, he had centuries to get over it, there was no reason for him to be such an ass. Denying Ecstasy was a perfect title for this one because it kept happening over and over and over. One thing I didn't like was that I wish we could have been in Rain's mind while she was seeing Dorian's memories, but oh well.

I also really liked the new plot between Vane and Brianna. They would make such a cute couple! The ending for this book has to do with them, and I wanted their story to be finished so that I know how it turns out, but I'm sure there will be plenty of it in the next one.

The ending for this one was a little bit of a cliffhanger. Just enough to keep me interested, and the over-arcing plot has really kept me interested (except for in this one, it was slightly confusing, the characters keep changing too quickly to keep track of). Can't wait for the next one!

Ecstasy Claimed: Setta Jay

**Copy provided by author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

So....more smut. A whole bunch of it. Do I care? NO.

But this one was better than the last one to me. I loved that once Alyssa found out what was going on she just did whatever the hell she wanted. The whole going off to the pleasure islands was almost comical, except it was hot. Like, scorching hot, make sure you have ice on hand.

Actually, it wasn't just the island part...the whole book is really hot. This author is great at dirty talk and sex.

I did understand her hurt though...from her perspective Gregoire was a total ass. But hey, typical male and all that. I'm just glad it all got worked out.

The background plot (the non romance part that is) is getting more interesting. The villains in this series are fairly well written (they are pure evil) but some of the logic in this is hard to follow.

I'm enjoying how the author is working in this different world and all the rules that the different races have to adhere to, but sometimes it gets confusing for me.

Overall it was decent and a really really quick read. It only took me a few hours, perfect for a quick break or great to relax and read on the beach or plane.

Ecstasy Unbound: Setta Jay

**Copy provided by author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

If you don't like smut...just skip this book and review now. The whole book was pretty much sex.

This was my first para-romance book...and it was interesting. Some aspects of the plot are cool (and there was a surprising amount of intricacy with the whole mating ceremony and details leading up to it), and some are confusing and filled with holes. But it is a smut book....I didn't really expect anything else.

Alex was awesome. She had a kick ass attitude and was able to deal with Urian and his alpha-male craziness, along with being able to beat up the bad guys.

Good and pretty quick read, with lots of sex.

How to Catch a (Rock) Star: Gabrielle Aquilina

**Copy provided by author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

Although this was a well done book, there wasn't anything that was super original about it. It was sweet and cute with the right amount of drama for a rock star romance book. But overall...

Just meh.

I liked that Lillie worked so hard to overcome her stage fright...it was cool to watch. I definitely liked Lillie better than Jed as well. She was stronger, even with the stage fright, and finally decided to go get what she wanted.

It was a solid three stars, and I'm hoping that maybe another book with some more HEA's for the rest of the band will happen.

You Are Mine: Jackie Ashenden

**ARC copy provided by author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

I really, really, really wanted to like this book. I was so excited for Zac and Eva's story. And it fell flat. I enjoyed it well enough until Zac decided he was going to take charge. I know he was all "I will never hurt you or push you too far and you are safe with me" but I did not like the way he played with Eva. Most of those scenes had me cringing and shaking my head.

It didn't feel safe, and it most certainly didn't seem like he cared about Eva. Eva went through some pretty traumatic shit and I though Zac pushed her way too much.

I did enjoy getting Eva's background (even though it was heart wrenching). I liked getting to see another side of Zac, his protective side. I liked that Eva wasn't afraid to stand up to him, that she felt safe enough with him to be herself.

The ending of the book shocked me a bit. Be warned, it is a sudden and explosive, with some repercussions that have lasting effects on all the characters, including a side character!

Overall, the book was okay, it finished off the over-arcing plot that had me so hooked. But again, like the rest of the series, there was nothing that sucked me in so much that I couldn't put the book down. I think there is another book in the series coming out but I'm quitting now.
